Transformers

Havent finished it yet. a almost free-roam play(like GTA), with options to re-do the prev missions. You play the transformers (no choice as to who). The game has the same overall plot as the movie. You can unlock special features, play mini games. You can transform! whoot! Will please any transformer fan!

Games that make people think are quite popular. The ultimate function is the test, which randomly choses 1 mini game from each class; think, analyze, compute,memorize & identify and then comes up with how much your brain weighs, a grade and what occupation your brain suits. Right now mine is a C+ a musician at 1032g! (ive been dumber e.g a fashion designer! lolz)Great for any age!

Loving it. Cant stand some songs. A very funky albumn! favs: Clumsy, London bridge, Glamourous.. ok just bout every song that she has made a single.

Preoccupation with food


Not much to say bout today, did my 1hr bike today during oprah, might get around to doing some more just to cement my chances of a loss come saturday!A chance to break closer or into the 80s.

Cant u tell im excited? for once im doing it right and getting results! (and so i should be!)

Almost finished reading my Joyce Meyer 'eat and stay thin' book. Good bit from her book. Reason 9 preoccupation with food:
"Part of the reason we tend to think about eating all the time is that in our society we are bombarded with images of food. Everywhere we look today we see televisions commericals, billboard advertisements, magazine layouts filled with pictures of enticing things to eat and drink. If we go to the movies, we can smell the popcorn before we even get through the front door.
In today's world, it takes a very determined person to avoid giving in to the temptaion to eat and become overweight."

So true! Some days all i think about is food, what im going to have, what ive had, what chocolates i want to have...

I know i shouldnt stress, just had maybe a bad day, eating wise. Too many little snacks.. i dunno i just know im slowly letting my grip go! Which scares me a bit. I want weight loss for real, and i want control over my eating! so im just going to start tomorrow like its a new day and im going to still be sensible tonight when hubby comes home. And i will make sure i do at least a hour on the bike.
B- museli and yogurt (2pts)
L- boiled potatoe and corn on cob (2pts?)
D-tuna curry and rice (9pts?)
S- 1 piece of toast and low fat spread (2pts)
S- nibbled on left over roast lamb little bits
S- a meringue (3pts)
S- a strawberry
D- meringue, strawberries n bit of whipped cream (5pts)

Portuguese tarts

Makes 12! 2.41pts so 2.5pts each

3 egg yolks (3pts)
1/2 c castor sugar (5.5pts)
2tablespoons cornflour (1pt)
3/4cup thickened cream (18pts?)
1/2c water
1strip of lemon rind or squirt of lemon juice or omit altogether
2tsp vanilla essence
3 sheets of filo pastry (1.5pts)

  1. Preheat oven 180deg cel
  2. Combine in a microwave proof bowl egg yolks, castor sugar and corn flour. Mix together well until pale in colour.
  3. Then add cream, water and lemon rind.
  4. Place in microwave for 1min.
  5. add vanilla and stir.
  6. Cover and put in fridge to cool.
  7. Lay out filo sheet on clean & DRY benchtop.
  8. Cut rounds from pastry(4per sheet)
  9. press into muffin/cupcake tin well.
  10. Pour custard into pastry
  11. cook on 180deg cel for 20mins (keep checking)
  12. Stand for 5mins before removing from tin
  13. let cool

*decorate with cream, blueberries or strawberries and dust with icing sugar
(add the extra points tho) can be made healthier using less fatty cream

scales said 90.5kgs! Getting to the 80s must be possible! (i failed all last year!)
hubby also weighed in at 90.5kgs.. so soon he will start loosing weight with me! (he plans to have a competition with me, very competitive personality!) and i say BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!

Feeling great!

91kgs! How awesome is that! Ive lost 8kgs!
Ive almost lost 10kgs! I havent done that before(in years!)!
I realise that controlling what goes into my mouth and into my kitchen helps!
Like i said b4 theres not much want in bingeing on sultannas, sunflower kernels, prunes or pumpkin seeds!
The 80s arent far off now, that makes me excited! I can only improve again this week and keep burning the fat!

Facts:
I used my exercise bike for at least 1hr each day, managed to go over that when i had time, energy and Tia was asleep!
The smallest i've been all year so far for 2006!!! YEP!
5.5kgs more to go and i will be half way!
I havent been this weight since? er.... maybe october last year
Im enjoying the exercise, its becoming part of my routine.
Im almost in the 80s!
I am very happy with what i have achieved and will continue to not cheat myself!

another heat headache

well saw the family today, now very tired.. and have got a heat headache! ooww!
last night i think i went over by 1 or 1/2 a point. i figured i had some points left so thought about a icecream or a packet of chips, i thought well ive probably had my share of sugar points so i guess i will have the lays original thins 50g, 5 or was it 5.5pts?
not stressing! I havent been over points all week!
Might be over points today.. not sure.

Aussie day

What a interesting day! Its not raining for once, and hubby has the day off.
Been shopping, had coffee a skim irish nut creme, probably ahve to count that as todays sugar points! Havent been on the bike as yet, waiting for something on tv besides video games! for my hour or more..
My sister has come up from A.C.T! A nice suprise! And will see her again tomorrow.
Have an offer to see uncles and aunts that i havent seen in ages tomorrow with her.. but just feels odd as i havent seen them in years (they are kinda local) one uncle and aunt ive been told isnt talking to my odd nan, which is good. i dont want any relationship with her and dont want anyone else in trouble with her if i talk to them. Why do families have to be full of nutty people?! And utter choas?!

I am exhausted. ive done 2hrs on the bike today. 1hr after lunch, 1hr after dinner.. and then i sat down with a small bowl of strawberries and a bit of cream (not whipped)

What exercise have i done:

Motivation to keep me going

  1. my fat photos
  2. possiblity of being a bridesmaid this year (if they make it to the altar this time)
  3. The outside of me not being as happy as the inside
  4. not fitting into pretty matching underwear and voodoo stocking dont have a size that would fit me.
  5. All clothes pretty tight fit
  6. having bought a target size 18 dress and swimmers!
  7. Tummy getting in the way during intimate moments and the heat makes it worse :oops:
  8. Thinking about how insides must look like.. all gluggy, worn out, inflamed
  9. Thinking about my familys history of heart diease, stroke, diabetes and cancer.
  10. Havent been a healthy weight since being pregnant (comming up to 3yrs ago)
  11. Having struggled with my weight all my life, its time to stop!
  12. When i get to goal of 70, i will have lost 26kgs the healthy sensible way! And i get $500 to splash out on clothes!

Week 3 commitments

Last week was good with a 2kg loss. And another loss this week would be good too! (even if its just a little)

Shouldnt worry

Nervous, had a good weigh in yesterday! And now i really DONT want to stuff up! I dont want to repeat the mistakes of last year! Challenge after challenge and not going anywhere!
Shouldnt worry, i know! Even the sermon at church today was on not worrying!
Im just going to do my best this week, keep up with my exercise, stick to points and stay away from chocolate, greasy chips and packets of chips...

i will stick with my coke zero, water, diet topping, homemade lebanese pizzas, ww cereal and diet yogurt, salad, filo pie, and light milk...

Today i had:
B= 2 pieces of toast 1/2 serving of cereal and diet yogurt
L= 2 chips, lean beef burger & diet coke
s= 3pt mud cake slice
d= leftover lasagna

Odd, i went shopping and didnt buy anything!
Had guests over and more on there way, again today! so hopefully since it has cooled down after being a major hot day i can get on my bike!

Ive been busy wasting time, but enjoying it on neopets. Im addicted to the games and being a neo-millionaire! ;)

Hubby said he was thinking of us going to the pool today, its a bit late to go now, with dinner in the oven and the pool possibly closing early since its a sunday or closing in a hours time. (not to mention the mozzies!)

having my lean beef burger when out with the family, is getting a bit tough. Since i watch hubby and Tia eat yummy chips and kfc chicken in front of me. My resolve is weakening, but its not like we can afford to eat out until wwwaaayyyy later in the week. Thank goodness!!! So i should be hanging for my lean beef burger and just that!

Have you ever walked past a mirror or your reflection and done a double take?! like is that really me?! I have my bad ones and the good ones.. like "hey i look pretty today", or "are my hips really sticking out that much?"

I really should figure something to do for my abs. A friend of mine has a ab-swing... but she is still away on hoildays in melbourne. My abs r the weakest muscle in my whole body! I guess as i continue loosing weight, my tummy should shrink.. and my belly button just might stop looking like its frowning!

R.I.P Vanilla


Found out this morning that Vanilla had died. Only got 2 pics of her with Tia. She was still a baby, not sure why she went. Feeling a bit sick about the whole thing, not in the mood for any food or to do anything. Cant help to think that it was the raddishes i gave them yesterday.

The ww museli is much better, more edible with the nestle passionfruit diet yogurt. But still didnt end up finishing it. (feeling sick)

Got a guest comming over tonight, so i guess id better do my exercise before it gets humid today.

Peeked at the scales and was delighted (before i knew of Vanilla) and i guess if i hadnt peeked id be probably more depressed and out shopping for something unhealthy to eat. I hope tomorrow and onwards i will have good news on weigh-in day.

Im proud of myself for switching to the maccas lean beef burger its 12pts lower than what id eat at kfc with hubby on a thursday night.

Yesterday after doing 1/2hr on the bike, felt dizzy and sick. Did alot of weeding out the veggie patch. The corn, lettuce and onions are doing really well! Went out shopping again and out for tea. Came home still feeling exhausted and sick.. this morning feeling sick mainly coz Vanilla.

Busy, Busy, Busy


This is me last year in october in the botanical gardens, townsville. I was pretty disgusted/shocked when i saw this picture! I was weighing around 96kgs!
I am hoping next time we go up there, i will be a much happier, slimmer person! Healthy inside and out!

What i have had today:
  • 1/2 serving of museli and low fat milk
  • 2 1/2 pieces of toast
  • 7/8s of a small sausage roll
  • regular size skim irish nut gloria jeans coffee
  • diet coke
  • maccas lean beef burger? or fish(tuna) curry?
  • 1.5lt of water
I have already done 1/2hr on the bike while watching poko and play school with my 2yo. So tonight i will do another 1/2hr and if i have time & if i feel up to it maybe another hour. Been out shopping, fridge full again and more diet yougurt this time the nice nestle passionfruit one. 1 serving is 1pt and i hope to use it with the awful ww museli. So breakfast will be bumped up to 4 pts.
I need to be keeping better track of my sugar points! eep! But im pretty sure of a loss of some description this week, it doesnt matter how much just as long as i dont go up again!
Off to go shopping again! Have fun!

What do i want?


Today is another rainy day, altho it started out sunny.. its now cold and rainy.
Housework is all done, everything is close to spotless. I was given a microfibre cloth (go-lo) by my mum for christmas (not subtle are we?!) And it works a treat, i actually want to clean! It makes it so easy and stainless steel so shiny!
Ive been so tempted these past few days to just walk down the road to a servo and get something, either a bag of chips, chocolate or ice-cream. I feel bad for thinking bout it! I know i can treat myself with something like a milky way.. but 5points for 50g of chips isnt worth it!! I feel stuck, part of me wants it, part of me doesnt.

I think i will stick to the one that doesnt! Im sure i could use the points in a better way, say like dinner.. a chicken stir-fry with fresh singapore noodles (im sure the noodles arent going to be point friendly, but as a bargain shopper i couldnt say no to a packet for 50cents especially since useby is friday and i bought it on monday) But fresh pasta is better than dried, so ive heard (healthy wise).
I think ive just got a sweet tooth craving,(maybe thats what it is) and since i havent been eating the banannas (over-ripe now yuck) and pay-day is tomorrow and i didnt feel like shopping for fruit (lazy and hate walking with pram in the rain)
Ive been thinking about making some brown rice pudding...
See i told u my brain is full of food and cooking and food and more food.. EEEEEPPP!!!

Well i'd tell u all my dream i had this morning with Aliens and tornados and the house in the tornado, but you wouldnt believe me!

Today i have eaten:

  • BF=3 pieces of Pb toast
  • BF=1/2 serving of ww museli and lil skim
  • L=30g chicken breast, mushrooms, onion in a wrap
  • S=2 salada things with lf spread
  • D=chicken,capscuim,onion,carrot stirfry with singapore noodles
  • and maybe some rice pudding(skim & brown rice)
I so need to find control over sugar points! And to find everything that would count as sugar points!
Tonight is a 1hr on the exercise bike. When i get to an hour i find myself thinking, if i just keep going.. and part of me is like.. why do more?! Youve done the hour, be happy. I think im wary of burning myself out over the bike or protecting myself from going extreme like 3hrs on the bike a day..
OK so my scales today said 92.5kgs, to me thats awesome i just wish it was weigh in day!

Week 3 challenge commitments

Week 3 of 12 week challenge! (and so far gained 2.5kgs?! pah!)

  1. Begin to track what i eat
  2. Sensible treats and take-out
  3. 1hr a day on bike & walks
  4. Keep up on housework
  5. Weigh myself once
  6. Stop eating after 7pm

It might be tuesday, but no time like the present!
OK so i weighed myself this morning, naughty naughty! But feel in love with the numbers, 93kgs! How nice of them! (why couldnt they do that on saturday?!)

Did my exercise of 1hr on the bike last night, feeling happy getting back into things after no excersie on sunday and squeezing 1/2hr on friday and saturday.


Had crappy sleep last night, woke up twice then this morning the fan starts squeaking while im dreaming.. funny i was dreaming i was in a big house with lots of family and this person is on a exercise bike and its squeaking so i spray it will cooking oil spray but it keeps making the noise.. lol! Weird.. woke up and turned the silly thing off! Only to have the alarm go off 10mins later... and then heard a car crash (what i get for living on a main road with traffic lights each way up the road) But must be the earliest car crash ive heard at 7:20am! Theres way too many bad drivers on the road... scary to think if someone just so happens to be distracted or not looking what terrible stuff can happen! (anyways)

Im behaving today, the only bad stuff i could eat would be like sultannas.. and i so badly want to loose kgs and cms!

And My butt looks weird... like fully weird.. (like u wanted to know) the bottom bit of my butt is looking nice and beneifting form the exercise bike and the top bit is not as lean.. lol! Hopefully it will catch up with the rest of it!!!!!! ha ha! What was on the news yesterday? one of the Venus tennis sisters and her bottom?! I thought it was quite nice, round and lean... isnt lovely how probably some male in the media says she has a big bottom and all of a sudden its a story?! What crap!

Today i have eaten:
BF=2pieces of toast (despite yesterday saying id stop)
BF=tiny bit of ww museli and skim milk (i really dont like the museli)
S=Sunflower seeds
L=1 ham sandwich
S= Watermelon & 1 piece PB toast
D= Homemade oven wedges & some lebanese pizza
Drinks= Water 1.5Lts and 1 coffee.

Tonight i will spending 1hr on the bike. And check the tv guide online
to see if im watching something on tv or a dvd!

Adsl probs and nothing naughty left to eat

Well been having adsl probs. :( Means i know have a reasonably clean house (with a resident 2 year old) Is now working all nicely!
No exercise yesterday, was a bummer! Had guests over and im not exactly making it a well known public fact that i am yet again on a diet!!
*sigh*
Today i had:
3 pieces of toast with low fat spread. 4 jelly babies(natural confectionary). Oven homemade wedges, smidget of sour cream and sweet chilli sauce. 2 more pieces of toast with low fat spread. 1/2c of Sultannas. 1 cup low fat milk. Coke zero. 2 pieces of watermelon. Gloria jeans tim tam drink. Chicken tortillas with lettuce, rocket, tomatoes,onion, chicken breast,sour cream and sweet chilli sauce x2.
[I am so over sweet chilli sauce and sour cream, now thank goodness]

Im guessing way-over-the-rainbow on points.. oh dear!!
Not the greatest, had very little sour cream and the jelly babies eaten without thinking.
So tomorrow no toast! NO jelly babies (all out anyways) And cut down on the amount of food!

So that means the only lolly or naughty food in the house would have to be sultannas! Ive almost baked a few times only to find out that im all out of self raising flour! (a life saver!!!)

So tonight i will back on the bike for an hour, watching something or watching cromartie high on dvd. I actually read the instuction booklet for the bike (hey i didnt put it together) and found it had stretches, warm ups, routine ideas... etc. Cool!

I should remember to have my sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds at morning tea (to help me get thru the day & zinc content)

I have planned out this weeks meals, til payday since i know what we have to live on. So in theory i should behave, coz theres not much to slip up on except toast! *rolls eyes* And i dont want to be doing that! Maybe i just need these bad days to remember how terrible i feel when i eat to much and not all of it good!

Not happy with gain, i know its fluid and muscle.
(genetically could turn into a body builder for sure!)

so might have gained but lost cms and to me thats what counts!!!! (that tells me its muscle or fluid definately..)

Ive been working my butt off!!!

  4. ordering a lean beef burger at maccas and a diet coke (no chips or quarter pounder ordered!)
  5. Having takeout with family twice this week and eating only 1 chip each time
DETERMINATION LEVEL: Wavering, but quite HIGH!
