Transformers

Havent finished it yet. a almost free-roam play(like GTA), with options to re-do the prev missions. You play the transformers (no choice as to who). The game has the same overall plot as the movie. You can unlock special features, play mini games. You can transform! whoot! Will please any transformer fan!

Big Brain Academy

Games that make people think are quite popular. The ultimate function is the test, which randomly choses 1 mini game from each class; think, analyze, compute, memorize & identify and then comes up with how much your brain weighs, a grade and what occupation your brain suits. Right now mine is a C+ a musician at 1032g! (ive been dumber e.g a fashion designer! lolz)Great for any age!

Loving it. Cant stand some songs. A very funky albumn! favs: Clumsy, London bridge, Glamourous.. ok just bout every song that she has made a single.

zero

i have zero motivation at the moment.. it just so happens to be TOTM too and so i have been feeling like crap. its dumb but im depressed bout how backwards ive gone! maybe when i get over myself i could actually have a perfect eating/exercise day.. hour.. minute.. ><
but until our house blasts sirens, lights and looks like a prison maybe i could get outside the house further than the mailbox while James is at work! his paranoia and from what ive judged of the few 30+ odd neighbours is that most are great, keep to themselves n problems theres jus a few dubious bad drug dealing bad eggs around here too! X( the dealers arent too bad its just the crowd that comes to the dealer.. and i havent worked out what it is yet (besides ruling out pot.. as its the most obvious) im thinking speed or heroin. im pretty sure someone O.D last week when the ambo and police turned up.. 0.o
on a better note..
ive broken my thumb nail a bit at one side edge where it should still be attached to skin so im thinking of trimming it and putting a band aid over the top so i dont accidently rip the nail off painfully if it gets caught on something.. owww.. ^^ i think ive only got Hi-5 band aids at the moment.. lol..
trying to be happy.. trying..
hey at least i didnt buy tim tams as they were on special last night! ah shucks!
and i also made a mud cake for james to take to his works .. relaxing beer party/meeting that happens on friday.. LOL! it looks pretty bad but it actually tastes really good.. i guess next time i shoud get some baking paper so the bottom half doesnt stick.. (very un-professional i guess to have the cake upside down and then squishing the stuff stuck on the bottom of the tin back where it should be on the cake?! lol)
missed out on alot of mcleods daughters.. get an aerial and then its the week when sport takes over mcleods spot.. bummer.. its always mcleods that ends up having 2 weeks off for some sport.. annoying!)
ive seen a bit of the catch up.. only a bit coz i could only last that long.. wow so trashy/crappy (its so sad that one of the presenters lisa oldfield married to yes-i-screwed-hanson-and-lied-about-it david oldfield had him on the show before the lie dectector test.. saying he didnt sleep with pauline..) *rolls eyes* i understand that alot (not saying i am or was) of young and the restless fans are upset that its gone off free tv to be replaced by 'the throw up' (someone else called it that and i jus agree)
did actually go out last night without laptops (just alot of prayer and faith) thursday night late night shopping was awesome! LOL! had 1/2 the total seats/tables to choose where to sit at the food court! >< im used to having the whole family spread out over the food court watching like eagles and walking/standing closer to a group that looks like they are leaving just to get a spot! or just not bothering and going for a closeby bench at charlie square.. i miss my charlie sq it had so much space (with the crowds so totally needed it) that and all free parking (and tons of levels of parking).. ^^ seems like its ur lucky day down here in VIC if u even score a free park! (i must admit it looks really dumb when people are talking to the ticket machiene.. but if somehow ur $50 credit has gone down to $4 id be willing to talk to the machine/operator far away too)

the idiot box is alive

well the aerial is working.. have this odd channel 31? i dunno.. frankly its odd! ^^
biggest bummer is trying to tune in or even find the abc... the 1 channel Tia watches! (we r all going slightly crazy and even learning complete lines and sections and the songs from her dvd collection!!)

james was talking to a guy he works with and found out that he too plays the shakuhatchi (sp?) its been awhile since ive spelt it and since i havent added a picture of it in ages... this is what the japanese transverse bamboo flute looks like... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shakuhachi
1986 Peter Gabriel So "Sledgehammer" [0:00-0:16, 3:16-3:34]
1995 Michael Bolton Greatest Hits (1985-1995) "Can I Touch You... There?" [0:00-0:04, 3:26-3:50, 4:24-5:07]
2003 Linkin Park Meteora "Nobody's Listening" [0:00-2:57]
are a few of the most known songs i guess the instrument has been in..

anyways my eating has gone out the window-ish... not terrible but its still over eating (even if its the lite biscuits, n lite ice cream..)

A sad day.. in this world..

Muslim pupils beat teacher to death over Koran

From correspondents in Gombe

March 22, 2007 04:32am

Article from: Reuters

MUSLIM pupils at a secondary school in northeastern Nigeria beat a teacher to death today after accusing her of desecrating the Koran.

Oluwatoyin Olusase, a Christian, was adjudicating an Islamic Religious Knowledge exam at the school in Gombe state when the incident occurred.

The students attacked her outside the school compound after the exam and killed her, witnesses said.

It was not clear exactly what Olusase had done that angered the students.

Police confirmed the killing and said their intervention had prevented the incident from turning into a riot.

"We have received information that a female teacher has been lynched by her students. We are investigating the report," Gombe state police commissioner Joseph Ibi said.

At least five people were killed and several churches burned down in February 2006 in the neighbouring state of Bauchi by Muslims infuriated that a Christian teacher in a secondary school had tried to confiscate a Koran from a student who was reading it during class.

Word got out into the streets that the teacher had desecrated the Koran, infuriating Muslims who went on the rampage.

At least 15,000 people have died in religious, communal and political violence in Africa's most populous country since 1999, when Nigeria returned to democracy after 30 years of almost unbroken military rule.

finally....

James got the local job! thats pretty neat.. for all the interviews he went too he was offered the job (even if one was kfc.. hey kudos to them id never thought they would want to hire a 29year old! so age is no barrier.. despite what u get told by everyone else )

going out to dinner tonight been told is spag bol.. (as my mum would call it) so i cant see it being healthy.. and last nights dinner was a celebratory pizza (my 1st takeout junk food in a long while! yay me!! ) unfortunately it meant pizza was left over for todays lunch... ah well! I think im over pizza for awhile!! ^^ *fingers crossed*

i luv my freezer.. i luv my fridge... >< does that sound silly or what...

feeling a bit anxious bout going out to dinner tonight, people from church that weve been trying out are very friendly... im pretty sure we r going to a diff church (i think) this weekend.. uh so i had better figure out how on getting there and which one.. stil have ur list Jadey! thanks.

so im still thinking about running... i think 2 much no doubt! lol! downloaded a podcast on 1st week of couch to 5k in 7minutes and now have to find a converter to put it to mp3

i think its next door that gets confused and accidently opens our screen door and suddenly realises its the wrong flat and so closes... its odd.. to hear someone open the screen door and let it bang shut.. ><

had a late night.. 2.30am i went to bed.. i was er up playing ragnarok and got carried away unfortunately it was the same time that someone got dropped off by a big noisy 4WD.. and i dont think i nodded off til 3am..

a seedy feeling day

Dont know what it is today, but i feel down right seedy.. niggling sick feeling.. cant think of anything that really explains it..
im slowly sleeping better.. i guess its as good as it gets with the bedroom right next to the driveway for 8 units! 4-5 cars... with the walls paper thin and the neighbors talking normal volume at 6am in the morning..
The bunch of us at our block of units are interesting.. drama after drama unfolds.. and i guess everyone knows each others business with the walls being so thin.. that and the most drama comes from next door, poor thing! meh.. i think i will try my hardest to stay out of the gossip..
been playing our new game, Samurai warriors 2 on xbox 360.. and its awesome.
i wore my new shoes yesterday and got blisters... oww on both heels..

ive been trying out kikomans marinade/sauces the ones that huey advertisers.. the honey, ginger garlic and soy is the one ive been using.. quite nice and dont need much..

did quite a bit of laundry today.. the bathroom is packed! tried washing some curtains and i swear they r still yellow even tho the water went yellow.. i will have to get some bleach sometime and really make them 100% white..

low down on the jobs.
the graphic design job in bayswater is not a good pay rate.. bummer! James has the job and starts on thursday if he wants too (it turns out theres not alot of designing in the job even tho that what it was advertised as.. what the??!!). the frankston job has a round 3 interview tomorrow, pays better and would mean that we dont have to move again and God wants us to be in frankston for the long term.

we celebrated our anniversary a night late up in Townsville (dec 15th). It was a good night out.. we visited the jupiters Casino found out quickly how small it was ( casino area size was, was like a normal nsw rsl pub! only difference the tiny VIP room and the few tables) but the building is huge with its hotel and resturant etc etc.. (i think in all our 5years of marriage we have spent $2 on the pokies... not the gaming type.. nope we must be just too smart!)

we found out that the casino restaurant was booked out and walked all the way the opposite direction to the street full of their restaurants and decided on good old bennys (that we visited in oct the year b4) and it was great... i was very spoilt and had i think 2 or 3 geisha girls or something it was awesome (and ive been making my own however much more weak) i got stonkered!(but not enough to be throwing up or unconscious... nooo im not into that much poison!) the drink contained: milk, cream, butterscotch schnapps, absolut vanilla vodka, chocolate topping, and i think kahula & the cherry!

the ones i rarely make at home (since it makes me very sleepy or annoyed that i cant concentrate) is like 1/10 of the strength! my own mix is glass of milk, choc topping and 1/4 nip butterscotch schnapps.

and on the night i thought id made up the greatest word to explain how i felt 'stonkered' only to find out now that i must have absorbed it from somewhere else... ah well.

We had a great night out having dinner and then hanging out smooching on the pedestrian bridge where the pic was taken...

pics from animania oct 06 sydney Town hall

kimono sleeves in the making... oh and the weird stain
bit was me trying to save my work after
a little hand tried to help mummy
while she wasnt looking!

a bit late in posting... this is Tia and I on stage at sydneys town hall! i sewed the kimonos from my trusty pattern and hand painted them! 1st time cosplay (dressing up in costume to be some sort of character usually from anime or video games) our character was kokoro from dead or alive 4 which is on playstation 2.
My obi was of interesting design.. since i didnt have the budget to do a 12metre satin obi or the patience to learn how to do it perfectly and tightly.. i pre-made it with foam, velcro and lots of pins! it also meant that it didnt take a few hours just to put on and that it simple enough to fix up every hour and suitable for a 3year old also to wear!

~~> on stage at the end.. see im not the only crazy one!

Alot of theese pictures where taken by people in the crowd! I wouldnt want to be famous! I was surely treated like one on the day tho! All the girls loved Tia, she was so adorable and they loved that she sat down japanese stye in her kimono (little do they know Tia rarely sits still or always on her knees)

it was hard getting around with everyone asking to take pictures, a experience i wont quicky forget! Getting from one stall to another was a challenge (that and remembering afterwards where i wanted to go)

my kimono was far from perfect and had a few mistakes but i did pretty well in the little time i had... i made the pattern for Tia's kimono from scratch... so proud of that! lol!

the japanese realy do have to be skinny to look good or slim in a kimono! (especially the many layered winter ones)

so yeah... me who is to timid to go anywhere near a gym, let alone a pump class or anything... went on stage... dressed so differently and stood out in a crowd.. drew attention to myself like i would not believe... yikes! and having a ton of cameras going off all by complete strangers and then finding them on the web! what an experience!!!!!!!!!
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH
(i will continue to hide now)
